Frequently asked questions
Is Label Studio free?
Yes. It runs on every OneINV install with no trial, no credits and no licence gate, whether or not you have bought any of the three paid modules.
Which barcodes can I print?
Code 128 barcodes and QR codes. Each is filled from a column in your Excel or CSV file.
Can I use my own Excel or CSV data?
Yes. Import xlsx, xlsm, csv, tsv or txt files, choose the sheet, and map your columns once. If your SKU file has no Brand, Colour, Size or MRP, join a second listing file to bring them in.
Which label sizes can I use?
Presets for 75x50, 50x25, 100x50 and 100x150 mm, or a custom size of at least 5x5 mm. The same template prints at any size or DPI.
How do I print the labels?
Export one PDF and print it on your label printer. Choose one label per page for thermal printers, or an A4 sheet layout for sticker sheets and office printers.
Does it send labels directly to a printer?
No. Label Studio exports a PDF, so print the PDF to your label printer. It does not send printer-specific commands.
Is it the same as the shipping labels Order Processing prints?
No. Label Studio designs and prints your own product or MRP labels with barcodes and QR codes. Order Processing handles courier shipping labels. They are separate features.
Can I share templates?
Yes. Templates are stored in your account, so they are on every PC, and you can export or import them as .json files.
Does the ₹ sign print correctly?
Yes. The PDF embeds the font, so the ₹ sign and Indian text print correctly.
